The Woman in Question (1950)

The Woman in Question poster

These days it’s nice to catch up on movies that haven’t been broadcast on terrestrial TV since … the digital takeover.  Many haven’t been seen since the late 80s, presumably over rights issues. As a lifelong fan of Dirk Bogarde it’s wonderful to see this again for the first time since my teen years. He has a showy role but really this is a great vehicle for Jean Kent, the murdered woman whose personality is seen from the perspectives of all the suspects in the case. It may well be her finest hour on film.
